May 22, 2020April 26, 2026 Siri0Tagged Cross stitch, Finish, Tutorial

I just love making these finishing tutorials! So here’s one I’ve actually done before over on CrossStitch.Live. The cross stitch biscornu! I’ve learned some things since then, and taken fresh photos. So here we go! 🙂 They make great little pin cushions. Make large ones for your desk; small ones for your travel box to […]

Inventory Tracking: Cross Stitch Patterns, WIPs, and Materials

May 15, 2020December 6, 2025 Siri0Tagged Cross stitch, Organization, Tips, Tutorial

It is pretty much inevitable that at some point in your cross stitch journey you will find yourself with more materials and half-finished projects than you know what to do with. It is not uncommon to accidentally purchase more of a color you already had, or forget a WIP even existed for years at a […]

Pin Drum Cross Stitch Finishing Tutorial

May 1, 2020October 16, 2023 Siri0Tagged Cross stitch, Finish, Tutorial

Pin drums are by no means a new type of finish. These guys have been around for ages, but mostly among the more traditional cross stitch communities. There’s a few tutorials out there already, and I pulled from several of them when I put together my first pin drum. As always, there’s no single ‘right’ […]

Beads: Accenting your Cross Stitch Projects with flair

April 24, 2020December 16, 2025 Siri0Tagged Cross stitch, Tips, Tutorial

Why Beads? There’s a few different reasons you might decide to add beads to your project. The most common reason being the pattern called for it. But that isn’t always the case! There are plenty of designers out there that love to incorporate beads into their designs. You’ve likely seen some Mirabilia or Châtelaine  designs […]

Switch Dock Cover : Cross Stitch Finishing Technique

April 10, 2020March 28, 2024 Siri0Tagged Cross stitch, Finish, Tutorial

I hope everyone’s enjoying Animal Crossing! I’m having a lot of fun with it, personally. Still mad that they waited so long to announce the special edition Switch, though. Fun fact: When the Switch first came out, I refused to buy one and spent a good two and a half years without one. Specifically because […]

A lil labor of love here. And I hope some of you find them useful! Make for a nice wall piece, or you can stitch them individually for magnets, pendants, keychains, etc.

Did you figure out yesterday's WIP? Believe it or Did you figure out yesterday's WIP? Believe it or not, this isn't my first time making WoW florals! I made a ton years back that I turned into necklaces.
They're from a combination of the in-game rendering of these herbs and the icon you see in your inventory, as those are often easier for people to recognize.

I'm especially proud of my Mageroyal and Grave Moss specimens though.👀
Did you level up your herbalism back in your WoW days? Or did you take up a different profession? Ngl, I had so many alts that I definitely maxed every profession and class combo you can think of pre- WotLK.

I don't play these days, but maybe you still do! :) Or maybe you've just got some nostalgia for Azeroth like I do. Either way, there'll be some new florals for you to cross stitch on my Patreon this Saturday. ;)
More of a preview than I usually share on WIP wedn More of a preview than I usually share on WIP wednesday, but I couldn't help it. I was having too much fun with this one and forgot to take a WIP photo til now!

Dreamfoil, Artha's Tears, Bloodvine... any of ya'll recognize these herbs? 😉
