Pin Drum Cross Stitch Finishing Tutorial

May 1, 2020October 16, 2023 Siri0Tagged Cross stitch, Finish, Tutorial

Pin drums are by no means a new type of finish. These guys have been around for ages, but mostly among the more traditional cross stitch communities. There’s a few tutorials out there already, and I pulled from several of them when I put together my first pin drum. As always, there’s no single ‘right’ […]

I hope everyone’s enjoying Animal Crossing! I’m having a lot of fun with it, personally. Still mad that they waited so long to announce the special edition Switch, though. Fun fact: When the Switch first came out, I refused to buy one and spent a good two and a half years without one. Specifically because […]

I'm always partial to a good rainbow! I am curious I'm always partial to a good rainbow! I am curious though, do you prefer a bold vibrant rainbow or a more subtle muted/pastel rainbow?

I'm kinda leaning pastel rn. But here's both palettes in case you need it to start planning your Pride projects for this year. ;)

Bold: 666, 970, 973, 700, 3843, 3837
Pastel: 3831, 722, 727, 519, 913, 155

If you have a Cone of Doom, how do you store it? 🤔 If you have a Cone of Doom, how do you store it? 🤔 I keep it on one of those spinny yarn holders on the top of this shelf right above my desk where I do most of my stitching. So any time I need some 310 I just reach right over my monitor and pull down a strand of whatever length I want 👀

I used to keep it ON my desk right behind said monitor but it... was collecting quite a bit of cat hair down there, so I moved it up higher.

Where do you keep yours?
