This month's pattern is a sweet little piece theme This month's pattern is a sweet little piece themed after one of my favorite carnivorous plants, the butterwort. aka Pinguicula.

It's pretty hard to depict that distinctive leaf shape and texture in a cross stitch, but I did what I could. 🤣

🎨 Pattern - Now on my Patreon
🧵 Threads - Stitched with DMC, Cosmo conversions included in Pattern!
🎀 Fabric - 14 Count oatmeal
✂️ Finish - Not FFO'd yet! What should I do with it?

A look at one of my favorite shelf in my office wh A look at one of my favorite shelf in my office which holds my cross stitch WIPs!

The old IKEA KVISSLE is perfect for holding all my works in progress. including some other crafts. I couldn't find it on the Ikea site anymore. But uh, the IKEA HARVMATTA looks... exactly the same, lol.

I do plan to paint this thing one day when I finally have time/money to remodel my office. But for now... it's fine as its. You don't need a fancy space to create cool stuff!

But it is definitely nice to have.
How do you store your WIPs? Are you more the individual project bags type? Do you have them in a drawer? One of the great things about this craft is just how differently everyone goes about their setup and process. Everyone's different and all those differences are so interesting to see!

A few years ago I stitched up this Venus Fly Trap A few years ago I stitched up this Venus Fly Trap design planning to do a whole series of carnivorous plants, but I haven't quite gotten around to doing another til recently 🙈
I really want to do a pitcher plant one day. And possibly some sundews with like, backstitch and french knots. But I need to work up my courage for that one, lol.

The next in this series hits my Patreon this Saturday though! See you then. ;)

This month's cross stitch pattern is coming along! This month's cross stitch pattern is coming along! You can already tell I'm doing another plant-themed pattern, I think. But I bet you can't guess the plant/flower!
I posted the color palette last week if you need more of a hint. ;)

How interesting is this yellowy green though?

I haven't done many pendant necklaces recently. I I haven't done many pendant necklaces recently. I used to do a ton of them with the small sprites. They're pretty fun to make, but you can't fit very much in them without going up to at least 28 count fabric, so it can be a little tedious to stitch, even if I usually just do half stitches on 28 count.

I've got a tutorial up on my site on how I make these, if you've ever wanted to make your own. Small motifs are perfect for this!

What kinda stuff would be fun to do as pendant? Give us some ideas!
