This month's article is all about LARGE projects. This month's article is all about LARGE projects. BAPs, HAPs, and just plain lorge cross stitch patterns that always seem so daunting until you're actually in the midst of it.

I don't do as many large projects nowadays, but I used to. So I've brought you my experience working on them as well as asked the kind folks of the Pixel Stitch Discord server to share their current recommendations on the topic.

From how to handle all the excess fabric, to how to stay motivated. 👀
Head on over to my website to find out more!

Swipe to see the front~! --> In case you missed it Swipe to see the front~! --> In case you missed it on Monday. ;)
But here's the backside of this month's design. Neither neat or messy really. Just a normal looking back. For me.

Everyone's cross stitch backs are different, so if yours doesn't look like this. Don't panic! Your back is perfectly normal too. Everyone's different and stressing too much about the back is a quick way to ruin the fun of the craft if you're not careful.

Of course if you ENJOY going out of your way to figure out the perfect path to make the back of your stitch immaculate that's completely valid too!

Just be honest with yourself as to whether the back is *actually* important to you. Or if you'll be finishing it in a way no one will ever see it anyway. ;)

I've been trying to share more of my not business I've been trying to share more of my not business related craftiness. So here's some minis my husband and I painted recently for the Mansions of Madness Path of the Serpent expansion.

I think we're still missing just one expansion, Horrific Journeys. And with FantasyFlight being notorious for discontinuing things without notice, we should probably pick up that last expansion sooner rather than later, huh? 😂

Anyway, I painted the ones on the left, and he painted the ones on the right.
Though a couple of mine got cropped out to fit on insta, whoops. The most important rainbow serpents made the crop so I'm ok with it. 😂

A while ago I found this small set of drawers on f A while ago I found this small set of drawers on facebook marketplace and I just had to have it. It was an absolute steal! And yet it wasn't until this year that it finally reached its final form. What I had planned for it initially -- holding my DMC Cotton bobbinated threads in numerical order.

I got some acrylic dividers custom cut by @april.alameda and each slot fits up to 6 full bobbins. Though my bobbins rarely stay full for long, so some of the pockets are a bit thinner than others. 😆

I specified bobbinated thread, because I also have two large boxes of backup skeins of thread 😅But this is my main set, what I stitch from daily.
I do still have standard bobbin boxes as you can see on the left. Boxes just for specialty and variegated threads. Boxes for thrifted or old dye lot threads. Even for other brands. But my main set goes in these top two drawers.

The bottom drawer has just perle cotton balls. I don't use perle cotton a ton. But it just made the most sense to have them in this drawer for now. Perhaps that will change in the future. But for now; I'm pretty happy with this setup.
Something no one requested or probably even knew t Something no one requested or probably even knew they wanted to stitch... the Mother Plant from the Sims 4 StrangerVille pack!

Too niche? Possibly. But I did it anyway. And I guess there's now ..5? in these 'weird Sims plants' series. Probably the last one though. I can't think of any other Sims plants I would want to stitch. Maaaybe the Crystal Tree? But I forsee that being a pin in the but to pixel down to this scale, so idk. Thoughts?
